Spring into spring

Join me for a FREE workshop and learn how to start a nature based mindulness practice so that you can connect with the world around you at a deeper sensory level.

I will show you how I use simple observation and journalling techniques on a daily basis to  observe and record nature using words, plants and colour,  delighting the senses to bring a bit of joyful calm to each and every day.

Wednesday 27th March 12pm UK time

Would you like to learn how to connect with nature, get outside and take the first steps in making a beautiful journal?

I’m Sian Cornish, living and working in the beautiful countryside of Cornwall, UK. A botanical dyer of textiles, artist and lover of colour and fabric, what I am really drawn to is connections. Whether those are between science and art, or landscape and pattern, I spend my life joining the dots, and I want to connect with YOU, and bring you into my world!

I am going to show you how simple it is to start a daily journal practice, with just 10 minutes a day.

BUT SIAN, I'M NOT CREATIVE

(of course you are are, we all are), but this isn’t about being ‘arty’ or ‘creative’ – this is about begin human and connecting with nature – ANYONE CAN DO IT, I promise.

N

I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT

To start with, we are just going to use a pen or pencil, paper, and some plants (you can even just start with the first two)

Using observation and recording to develop a more mindful connection with nature’s rhythms.

feel a sense of calm and joy, Wherever you are

N

YES, THIS WILL HELP ME DE-STRESS

OK, I’m not a therapist, but I do understand first hand the benefits of being in and looking at nature, even for a short time (plus there are plenty of scientific studies that prove what we instinctively feel.)

N

TRIED LOTS OF OTHER MINDFULNESS THINGS?

You might favour yoga, a run in the countryside, or a sea swim as a way to ‘switch off’. But let me show you another way, something you can do in a short time every day, and even on your non-yoga days!

N

YOU WILL GET ADDICTED!

Anyone can do this, and the joy of observing nature, making marks and colour from natural materials is very satisfying.
