Study Notes

Every 3 months you will receive beautifully researched and presented Study Notes, with recipes, prompts and space for samples.

Each set of Study Notes is carefully prepared and inspired in some way by each season. We’ll make use of the colours, plants and materials available throughout Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter so you get a real feel for the changing seasons and colour dyeing techniques.

Botanical Dyeing Kit

You will also receive your very own Botanical Dye Kit, with instructions for a new activity with natural dyes every 3 months. This contains everything you need to start an exciting new guided project each season.

You will receive your Kit in the post and/or digitally, depending on your subscription preference.

Live Journal Exploration and Special Guests

Once a month, join Sian live for an exploration into that season’s bounty. This is a perfect chance to ask questions and delve into wider issues, share ideas and progress, and meet the wonderful community! Every month there will also be bonus content helping you with the seasons projects, plus special guest interviews!

How do I access my subscription?

When you join the Natural Dye Subscription, you will receive your own unique login details, allowing you to access the information at any time, at your own pace.

Can I pay annually?

Yes – we offer a one-off annual payment at a discounted price. Choose this and you will also be offered a 1-to-1 session with Sian.

What if I want to unsubscribe?

You can unsubscribe at any time, but we are confident that you will fall in love with natural colour and become addicted!

If I have a question on something in the Study Notes or Dye Kit, what can I do?

There is a private Facebook group exclusively for subscribers to the Natural Dye Journal, and you can post your question in there and get help from the community or Sian.

Will there be an online course?

This subscription focuses on seasonal delivery of beautiful resources for you to follow at your own pace. But I’m excited to reveal that I do have an exciting course coming out soon with Create Academy – watch this space!

When will I receive my parcels

If you have signed up for a physical subscription, we will post out your Study Notes and Kits 4 times a year, and shipping dates will be on the calendar within your subscription.

When is the next shipping date?

We will ship within a 6 week window in the first part of each Seasonal Quarter – so for example our Autumn shipments will happen from 1st October until the middle of November. If you join the subscription in the second half of the season, you will still have instant access to all of the foundation information to get you prepared before the next posting date, as well as ALL of the information from the current and previous seasons in digital format.
