Would you love to have ten minutes every day to focus on your wellbeing, and produce something beautiful as a bonus?

Then step this way…

I made a nature diary at the age of 8, with pressed leaves, painstaking pencil drawings of birds, and notes about blossom.

And I loved it, I still have it. Follow that up a few years later with 28 days of weather observations and 3 months of recording sunspots, and the addiction was real.

And now, having made my whole career out of botanical dyeing, oberserving and making colour with nature, I’m here to show YOU how to get started,  form good habits, and receive immediate joy from working with nature.

You might be thinking this right now…

N

I HAVEN’T A CLUE WHERE TO START

It looks complicated and I’d really need someone to walk me through it.

N

I’M TOO BUSY TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW

But I know I need to take a break and do something for myself.

N

BUT I’M JUST NOT THAT CREATIVE, SIAN!

I was never good in art at school so I’m unlikely to create something beautiful at home.

This workshop is for you if…

N

You would like to connect more with nature and the seasons

N

You would like do something creative, that’s also mindful and calming

N

You feel there is something missing from your daily routine

N

You want to start healthy habits with accountability from a community and live help from Sian

N

You would love to start a Nature Journal and feel nature connected for calm

AND START A SOULFUL NATURAL JOURNAL PRACTICE

LET’S TALK

I’m Sian and I love producing colour from nature.

A warm welcome from me! I’m going to introduce you to some simple ways to start a Nature Journal.

Being in nature is calming (there are plenty of scientific studies proving that), and connecting with nature has even more benefits, both for ourselves and for the planet.

My journey as a botanical dyer has led me on an adventure in colour over the last 10 years, born from a love of textiles, colour and the environment – and a desire to create something unique.

My plant-dyed ribbons have been featured in the Universal Films costume drama ‘Emma’, in weddings and events around the world, and in MAKE: Cornwall book.

I love to use ancient recipes of natural plant based colours, infused with romance and a little bit of magic, to create colours from the landscape and changing seasons.

I hope that by joining me you will be touched by this magic and experience the joy that connecting with nature can bring.

There is so much to discover but it starts with just 10 minutes a day.

I can’t wait to share my easy steps to starting a Nature Journal, live from my studio in south east Cornwall.

Grab a cuppa and join me!
